Een houtbewerkingsmachine die een oefening gebruikt (zie houtbewerkingstool) om door of blinde gaten in een werkstuk te maken. Houtwerkoefeningen hebben horizontale en verticale, enkele as- en multi-aspunten, voornamelijk gebruikt voor houtboren, verwerking van tenongaten en reparatie knopen. De verticale werkdruk van een enkele as is vergelijkbaar in structuur vergelijkbaar met de metaalknipsel verticale boorpers. De boorbit wordt geklemd op de boorklem aan de onderkant van de hoofdas en wordt door de motor aangedreven om te roteren. Het werkstuk wordt op het werkplek geplaatst en kan handmatig of automatisch worden gevoed. De multi-axis houtbewerkingsbitset wordt gebruikt om de ronde pennengaten van paneelmeubels te verwerken, met punten met één rij en multi-row. Elke rij boorschachten wordt aangedreven door een afzonderlijke motor door tandwielen en de middelste afstand van de boorschachten is 32 mm of zijn veelvouden (de internationale standaard voor paneelmeubels). De rotatierichting van de aangrenzende boorbits is tegenovergestelde, gebruik de linker- en rechterhandwerkoefening. De positie van elke rij boorassen kan op het bed worden aangepast en elke rij boorschachten kan ook op de dia worden gekanteld.
